Boon, Daniel. Daniel Boone (1734-1820) was a frontiersman, explorer, and settler on the Western frontier of America before and after the American Revolutionary War. A very fictionalized version of Boone appeared in the German author James Robertson's Daniel Boon, der Held von Wildwest #1-48 (1920-1921).

The fictionalized Daniel Boon is active on the western frontier of America around the turn of the 19th century, fighting evil (usually but not always in the form of natives) and protecting innocents.

Boon appears in stories with titles like “Black Falcon’s Punitive Expedition,” “In the Enemy Camp,” and “The Giant Wigwam of the Indian Wizards.”
