Boireau. Boireau was created by the French creator André Deed (Mado) and appeared in thirty films from 1906 to 1909, beginning with La Cours à la Perruque.
Boireau is a grotesque, small man whose Imp of the Perverse leads him to cause chaos and destruction in the many jobs he briefly holds. In one film a Mad Scientist transfers a monkey’s brain into Boireau’s head, causing Boireau to act like a monkey until the experiment can be reversed.
