Blue Blaze. Blue Blaze appeared in a number of stories in The Rover in 1938 and 1939.

The Blue Blaze, the “demon of the air,” had been “the greatest air ace on the Western Frontier,” but once the war ends he returns home. However, once over the “Great Barrier Mountains of America” he finds a new sort of adventure, fighting crime, exploring, and shooting down the plains of evil men. He is assisted by “his famous Redskin observer, Eagle-Eye,” and the Blaze occasionally helps Eagle-Eye’s people in a fight against evil Anglos.
