Bloody Hand. Bloody Hand appeared in sixteen stories in the German dime novel Berühmte Indianer-Häuptlinge from 1906 to 1909, beginning with Berühmte Indianer-Häuptlinge #46 (1906); the stories were reprinted in Norway and Spain. Bloody Hand is a courageous and formidable Native American chief, sometimes known as “Satana,” who leads a valiant fight against Anglo oppressors and evil Native men.
