Blondy. Blondy was created by Stephen Payne (Buck & Gumbo, Tubby Morrison) and appeared in sixteen stories in Wild West Weekly from 1927 to 1932, beginning with “The Greenhorn at Twin Bells” (Wild West Weekly, Aug. 27, 1927).

Blondy is a young cowboy, a true greenhorn, whose job is to take care of the cattle and the sheep. But two-gun trouble in the form of bad men continues to present itself, and Blondy is forced to defend himself with his own six-guns to bring the owlhoots down.
