Black Mask (II). Black Mask (II) was created by “Niel,” the pseudonym of the Spanish author Niubó Melchor (Ardilla & Estrella, Titán (I)), and appeared in Mascara Negra. El Vengador #1-40 (1935?).

Black Mask (II) is a Costumed Avenger Cape-and-Épée Hero. He is a masked vigilante active in Spain and Europe in the 17th century, using sword and flintlock on those who commit evil, which range from ordinary thieves to corrupt noblemen to more sinister foes.

Black Mask (II) appears in stories with titles like “The Conspirators of the Black Forest,” “Hunted and Trapped,” and “Fiery Heroism.”
