Bellême, Otho. Otho Bellême was created by P.C. Wren (Dirty Dogs’ Club, Sinclair Noel Brodie Dysart, Beau Geste, Major Hazelrigg, McSnortt, Sudden Death Lodge, Minna von Voehniger) and appeared in Soldiers of Misfortune (1929) and Valiant Dust (1932).
Sir Otho Bellême is a Legionnaire. He is a brilliant, talented, and supercilious English nobleman whose family has fallen on economic hard times, leading Sir Otho to first become the professional boxer “Bob Blame” and then, after heartbreak, enter the French Foreign Legion and find adventure there, following the character path laid down by Beau Geste.
