Barclay, Miss. Miss Barclay appeared in the Turkish dime novel Sherlock Holmes’in Metresi #1-2 (1914).

Miss Barclay is a Great Detective. She is the mistress of Sherlock Holmes. However, Holmes is rather a weak reed, an inept detective and none-too-bright, and faced with an Impossible Crime he is forced to turn to Barclay, who displays contempt for Holmes and is his superior in plotting, deduction, and disguise.
