Ariaman. Ariaman was created by the Polish author Tadeusz Miciński (Father Faust) and appeared in Nietota (1910) and Żywia Słoneczna (1912).

Early in the 20th century, in the Tatra mountains, the forces of Good and Evil clash. Ariaman is the holy warrior for humanity, and his evil opposite is the demonic ape-man de Mangro, who is allied with “the sultan of souls,” Pope Pius X, and the “unconscious servant of Satan,” the Roman Catholic Church. Before the war ends black magic, the Black Mass, and travels in futuristic airplanes and Nautilus-inspired submarines come into play.
