Argyros, Pavlos. Pavlos Argyros (?-?) was a brigand in rural Greece in the mid-19th century.

In the 1920s Argyros appeared in various Greek pulp serials as a Gentleman Bandit. The fictional Argyros robs from the wicked rich (especially members of the monarchy), gives to the deserving poor, rescues maidens in peril, and fights against evil foreigners, most especially the Ottomans.
