Apaches (I). Apaches (I) were created by the French author H. Riganet and appeared in Los Apaches de Paris #1-6 (1908).

These are not the Native American people but rather “apaches” in the Victorian sense: members of a street gang. The Apaches (I) are a street gang in Paris, fighting the police and other street gangs. They appear in stories with titles like “The Lafrognes” and “Good at Everything.”
