Andersen, Christine. Christine Andersen was created by “Merlda Mace,” the pseudonym of Madeleine McCoy, and appeared in Headlong for Murder (1943) and Blondes Don’t Cry (1945).

Christine Andersen is a beautiful blonde woman from rural Minnesota who finds and solves crimes in New York City and in Washington, D.C. She is a "nice girl, with a certain stubbornness and inquisitiveness." (One critic calls her an “impetuous dope.”)
