Aerial Submarine. The Aerial Submarine was created by Walter R. Booth (Aerial Anarchists, Aerial Torpedo, Chauffeur) and appeared in the film The Aerial Submarine (1910). A nameless group of pirates, led by a female buccaneer, uses a submarine (its creator and history unknown) to terrorize the coastline of England. After a pair of children are captured by the pirates the children are shown around the submarine and then forced to witness the pirates torpedo an ocean liner and then loot its wreckage on the sea floor. The submarine then takes to the air and begins shelling a British naval submarine. Through the careless disposal of a lit match the submarine is destroyed.
