Wasplet. Teenaged orphan Jim Watson is being picked on by other children when he is rescued by the adult Bob. It turns out that Bob knew Jim’s father–they were both treasure-seekers who sought after a magic scarab. Bob takes Jim with him to find the scarab, and then makes him his sidekick–Bob is actually the Hooded Wasp. The Wasplet has no super-powers. He appears in stories with titles like “The Mysterious Men of the Mist,” “Realm of the Ghosts,” and “In the Amazon World.”
