Tiger Man. In the last days of the war Lt. Rob Benton crashes his jet in the jungles of Burma. Delirious, he attacks a tiger he thinks are Japanese soldiers. Local Burmese rescue him and take him to a temple, where a ceremony is held and the blood of the tiger is mingled with Benton’s. He gains size and strength, a ring that shines when danger is near, and a devoted Burmese servant, Pali, and becomes the Tiger Man, a fighter against the underworld in the U.S. He appears in stories with titles like “Blood of the Tiger.”
