Brodie, Shark. Shark Brodie is a soldier of fortune, “the toughest, two-fisted adventurer in the South Seas.” In his boat he encounters the usual array of South Seas menaces: headhunters, crooked white men oppressing the natives, storms, sharks, Japanese agents, the Lagoon of Death, and the Legion of Satan (a team of Japanese and German agents smuggling arms into Burma).
