Minute Man (I). Private Jack Weston of the U.S. Army, whose father was killed during World War One, is chosen by a general to be a special fighter against saboteurs and fifth columnists: the Minute Man. He puts on a costume he made for himself and does so.  Based in Camp Blaine, but working around the U.S. when ordered to do so, he fights against every enemy of the U.S. He is a member of the Crime Crusaders Club. He has no superpowers, but is very athletic. His nemesis is the femme fatale Illyria, Queen of the Spies, but he also fights rebellious Haitian natives, robot spies, ten foot tall Nazi monsters, the Black Poet, agents of the Black Dragon Society, the evil Toymaker, Mad Scientists, mummies, vampires, and head hunters. He appears in stories with titles like “The Servants of Korozan,” “Minute Man Meets Mr. Skelton,” and “Nuggerud the Agitator.”
