Little Dynamite (I). Ben Trumpson, a police detective, is known as “Little Dynamite” because of his height (he’s quite short) and his striking power (he’s quite strong). He is hard-boiled, willing to shoot criminals first and ask questions later, and dedicated enough to the job to accept a lot of discomfort, as in the case where he locks himself in a car trunk for six nights in a row waiting for that car to be stolen by a gang of car thieves.
