Edgar Hoover and going wherever there is crime, whether to Mexico in pursuit of diamond smugglers, to the coast to protect Princess Lania of Borgium from a gang that wants to steal her crown jewels, or foreign agents trying to steal a model of a new, technologically-advanced submarine. He appears in stories with titles like “The Death That Glitters,” “The Racket That Ran By Radio,” and “The Fabulous Wooden Box.”
