Cosmo, the Phantom of Disguise. Cosmo is a gentleman adventurer, crime-fighter, and a master of disguise who is summoned by the police, the Coast Guard, and various government departments and Scotland Yard on difficult cases, as when master thief Taro tries to steal a millionaire’s jewels and when the Mad Scientist the Avenger develops a death ray. He appears in stories with titles like “The Dope Torpedo,” “Curse of the Indian Mummy,” and “The Killer Clown.”
