Carey, Detective Sergeant. Carey was a police Detective Sergeant who fights against a Yellow Peril kidnaper named Sin Fu. Carey and his partner Sleepy Smith track Sin Fu all the way to China and stop a rebellion there, among other accomplishments. Carey appears in stories with titles like “Murder at the Thousand Bleeding Dragons,” “The Dope Smugglers on the Rising Sun,” and “The Avenging Ghost.”
