Gallant, Captain (I). Captain Gallant is a wandering adventurer who pilots a three-man “mini-sub.” Accompanied by Peg-Leg Pete and Chinese stereotype Chop Ching, Gallant finds adventure around the world, whether fighting criminal gangs of white men in the South Pacific or bloodthirsty natives and cannibal trees in the Amazon.
