Bombardiers. Roy Lincoln, the Human Bomb, applies to join the U.S. Army, alongside Montague T. “Curly” McGurk and Swordo. They are turned down, and decide to fly to Tokyo to fight the Japanese themselves. They are accompanied by the lovely Red Rogers, whose brother is held captive by the Japanese. Captured by the Japanese, Lincoln gives the others 27QRX, the formula which grants him explosive ability, and the others become as explosive as the Human Bomb. They use their powers to fight the Japanese. They appear in “Introducing the Bombardiers” and “The Dog and the Bombardier.”
