Black Spider. “The man known as the Black Spider strikes with deadly speed at the vicious world of crime, snaring crafty crooks and cruel killers in a web of evidence from which they never escape....” District Attorney Ralph Nelson puts on a costume to fight criminals who elude the law. He is assisted by his secretary Peggy Dodge, who knows about Ralph’s secret identity and who will wear a kerchief over her face when Nelson is in costume. As the Black Spider, Nelson uses a secret cave headquarters, .45s, poisonous pet spiders, and a lethal attitude. His enemies are not unusual, merely ordinary human criminals.
