Black Bull. “The early days of the southwest rattled with road bandits and cowhand gunfights over boundary fences, water holes, and salt licks, but a mysterious masked rider, the Black Bull, played a lone hand to help those in distress and maintain law and order.” He is actually Dale Darcy, son of Cornelius Darcy, the rich cattle baron of the Triple X Rancho. Everyone thinks Dale is a good-for-nothing fop, but he’s actually heroic. He appears in stories with titles like “Grinning Hole in the Wall,” “A Meteor Saves the Ranch,” and “Brand of Death.”
